Groin Pull


 

 

Strain of the adductor muscles at the attachment region in the groin area causing pain..  Also known as Riders Strain and common amongst horse riders, rugby, soccer speed skaters to name just a few. Basically any sport that requires running and rapid change in direction, acceleration or deceleration, kicking and jumping.

Prevention of Adductor Strain (Groin Pull) comes down to stretching and conditioning.  Stretching muscles and ligaments before they have had a chance to warm up pushes them beyond their range of motion causing strains and pulled muscles.
